Snake at your place? Stay back. We'll take it from here.
24/7 snake catching and snake removal for homes across Campbelltown and Liverpool, NSW. For urgent help at your property, keep back and call, day or night.
Has someone been bitten? Call 000 now and follow the dispatcher's advice. Do not call a snake catcher first.
Right now
Four calm steps while you wait.
- 1
Step back
Move yourself and everyone nearby well away. A snake that is left alone will usually stay still or move off.
- 2
Secure pets and kids
Bring dogs and cats inside or put them on a lead. Keep children indoors and away from the area.
- 3
Watch from a distance
If it is safe, observe from well back so you can tell us where it went. Never approach for a closer look or a photo.
- 4
Call the catcher
Ring 0413 191 844, any hour. Tell us your suburb and where the snake was last seen.
Please don't
- Do not try to catch, corner or handle the snake
- Do not try to kill it; approaching a snake risks a bite
- Do not throw things, spray it or poke it with a stick
- Do not take your eyes off it to chase it if it moves away
Snake inside?
Leave the room, close the door and, only if safe, roll a towel along the gap underneath. Keep everyone out, then call.

Practical safety advice
A snake in the backyard, house or garage.
In the backyard
Move away and keep children and pets out of the yard. Watch only from a safe distance. Do not corner the snake or use a hose, tools or your hands to move it.
Inside the house
Leave the room. Close the door only if you can do so without approaching the snake. Keep everyone out and call; do not try to trap it yourself.
In the garage
Keep clear of the garage and tell the catcher where you last saw it. Do not move boxes, lift sheets or reach under a vehicle to search for it.
Worried it could be venomous?
The Australian Museum describes both the eastern brown snake and the red-bellied black snake (sometimes called a “red belly black snake”) as venomous. Colour alone is not a safe way to decide what you have seen. Never approach for identification or a photograph; treat any snake as potentially dangerous.
Call with your location and what you already observed from a safe distance to discuss the situation. For a suspected bite, call 000 immediately, not a snake catcher.

Questions
Things people ask us.
Yes. This is a 24/7 local snake catching service. Call 0413 191 844 day or night.
No. Call 000 immediately and follow the dispatcher’s advice. A snake catcher is not a medical service. Keep the person still and calm while help is on the way.
Our approach is humane and respects wildlife. Native snakes are protected in NSW, and the aim is to remove the snake safely from your property, not to harm it.
Your suburb and address, where the snake is or was last seen, whether people or pets are nearby, and roughly what it looks like if you saw it clearly from a safe distance.
Yes. Call and describe where you last saw it. Keep people and pets away from that area and shut nearby doors if you can do so safely.
Leave the room if you can, close the door behind you and put a rolled towel along the gap if it is safe to do so. Keep everyone out and call us.
Please do not get close for a photo. Treat every snake as potentially dangerous. Identification can wait until the catcher arrives.
