In my own words

From backyard curiosity to the person you call.

  1. Childhood

    It started with curiosity.

I have been fascinated by snakes and Australian wildlife since childhood. That lifelong interest started with a desire to learn about the animals around me.

  2. The bush years

    Years spent learning the bush.

I spent years exploring the bush and learning about our wildlife: where animals shelter, how they move and what they need. That respect for native animals has never left me.

  3. Three years in

A lifelong interest became my job.

For the past three years I have worked as a professional snake catcher. Turning a lifelong interest into my profession means I get to help people and look after wildlife at the same time.

How I work

Help for you. Respect for the snake.

A lifelong interest in wildlife, and three years of professional snake catching.

  • Professional and reliable

My approach is professional and reliable, with clear communication for people who are worried about a snake at home.

  • Calm and friendly

Finding a snake at home is stressful. I will talk you through what to do while you wait, without fuss or judgement.

  • Care for the snake too

My aim is to catch the snake safely and relocate it in accordance with the relevant requirements, treating it with care and respect.
